On 31st May 2025, Blue Ocean Initiative successfully hosted a Drugs and Alcohol Counselling Programme aimed at addressing the growing concern of substance abuse within our communities. The event brought together individuals affected by addiction, mental health professionals, educators, and youth advocates for a powerful day of awareness, healing, and empowerment.
The programme created a safe and supportive environment where people could speak openly, learn practical recovery skills, and connect with others on the same path. The event also raised critical awareness about the importance of early intervention and community involvement in the fight against addiction.

Participants engaged in:

• One-on-one and group counselling sessions
• Awareness talks on the dangers of drug and alcohol abuse
• Mental health and wellness discussions
• Interactive workshops on relapse prevention and lifestyle change
